One of best place to visit | Ganga Barrage Kanpur

 Ganga Barrage, which is located in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh . It is a Dam which is built above the Ganga river. Construction of Ganga Barrage started in 1995 and started in May 2000. This projected was launched by "Namami Gange  Programme " . Construction costing of this project Rs. 303.14 crore. Ganga Barrage is also named as Luv Kush Barrage. It signifies connection between Kanpur and the era of Ramayana . Length of Barrage is about 621m . It open 24/7 with no entry charge.

 



It is one of best place to visit in Kanpur. You can come here along with your friends and family . Enjoy moment and view . Maggi point , Tea corner, Ice-cream stalls and many food stalls for visitors. Over the bridge you feel fresh  and happy due to fresh air , neat and clean surroundings. 


    


New water sports activities are also started at Boat Club which was inaugurated by Yogi Adityanath, Chief  Minister of Uttar Pradesh . Many laser shows with Maha Ganga Arti also be organized here. Night view is fabulous . It is beautiful developed  and maintained by KDA. The boating opens at 9am to 4pm with  entry charge Rs. 80 for two hours. 




Whenever, you come to visit Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh then come and visit Ganga Barrage.
